Day 6
Today I mowed the lawn for my exercise. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon at Raging Waters swimming and going on slides (and slides equals tons of flights of stairs). I was naughty though I went over my allotted amount of calories. (1511 calories) I think I'll survive though.

Day 5
Today I went to the temple to support my uncle who is 59 and taking out his endowments. Which of coarse means we have to celebrate afterward by going to lunch. I was really good though. I ate 1415 calories today and I went for a walk after dinner with Alex. I weighed myself this morning and weighed 164.2 YIPPEE! I am hoping to make it to my first goal by the end of the week. Thanks everyone for your comments.

Day 4
Sunday is my free day. Which is a good thing because my Mom made lime cheesecake, brownies and two different types of cookies for family dinner. I still managed to stay under 2000 ( 1970) calories which is a miracle with cheesecake around. Tomorrow I will be attending a temple session right when I would usually work out. That will be my big obstacle for tomorrow and the dinner for my uncle afterward.

Day 3
Today I didn't have to work out which is good because I am sore. I ate 1310 calories today which is pretty dang good especially on a weekend. We even went to the farmers market that has so many different yummy food vendors and I was so good I shared something to eat with my mom. Tomorrow is suppose to be my day off from my diet but I am going to still try to keep it under 1500.

Day 2
Today I did weights and ate 1231 calories. Pretty good I think. I also bought one of those "as seen on TV" pull up bars. I couldn't even hold myself up for a full second. It was pretty sad. I'll keep working on it though. Friday is my weigh in day and I went from 168 to 165.4. I am off to a good start. Thanks for all the encouraging emails and comments.

Getting Started
Okay I am so excited to get started on this blog and my weight loss plan. I have set a plan, goal and rewards. I am hoping to get some of my friends and family to follow this blog so I feel like I have to do it. I was on vacation this last week and I looked so fat in all the pictures I was embarrassed to post them on my family blog so I know it is time to get this done. This last year I turned 30 which I love being 30 except for the 10 lbs it added on to the 10lbs I already needed to lose. I know, I know I can't blame it all on being thirty. My schedule this last year had a lot to do with it too. I had always been big on working out until this last year Izabelle was in P.M. kindergarten and she would cry every time I would take her to the gym with me. Oh and there is on more thing, the fact that I love food. I know it is a bad idea to start a "diet" on any other day than a Monday but I don't care I can't wait so I will start tomorrow. I plan to run though instead of do weights because I did weights today. Oh I will try to get a "Before " pic up tomorrow.
